"Breast clinic referral"

About: NHS Ayrshire & Arran / South West Scotland Breast Screening Centre

(as a service user),

I went to my GP over seven weeks ago with a lump in my breast. I still have no appointment. I contacted GP and was told to contact breast close mic at crosshouse hospital. I eventually got through and was told there is no date and they are busy. This is over seven weeks and still no appointment. What am I supposed to do, my mum and aunts died of breast cancer and I am demented. I don't want to die prematurely leaving two young children as a result of staff shortages?

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.
