"appointment system is a joke"

Need an appointment merely to request a referral for my daughter as recommended by her physio (following referral to them by GP last year) - recommendation letter on surgery file for 3 weeks but not responded to without appointment. Now told no appointments for 3 weeks and then need to ring 8am after the weekend but given working hours this is not possible to ring Monday to Friday. Tried to arrange a prebooked evening appointment at the Pellon practice as per website but they would not be able to make a referral on my behalf so back to the problem of trying to arrange an appointment at this surgery!
