"Very well looked after"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital / Cardiology

Having spent 5 days in the DGH in June 2018 I was very frightened after having a Heart attack

The nurses doctors and all the staff were so kind to me.

They explained everything to me and what would happen this reassured me and made me less scared.

I can't thank them enough and for the follow up treatment which I will be receiving soon.

First and foremost, we very much hope you are keeping well, and are in good spirits whilst you wait for your follow up treatment to begin. The Trust works hard to provide a high standard of care to all patients, supported by the ethos of treating everyone with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect, and we are delighted to read that staff were so kind to you during your admission and kept you updated with what was happening. This must have been of great comfort and assurance to you at what can have only been an extremely worrying time for you and your loved ones, and we will ensure your feedback is shared with staff as they will be pleased to read how much you valued the care given.
