I have visited sister twice the only thing I am pleased with is one of the staff said she took
my sister to church,. Which is marvelous, I am not a atheist like the man above in his review'.
Nor is my sister, we are Christians.
But otherwise I agree with the review above, about it not being nice. It is like a prison. The
staff do not seem to have any respect for my sister or me. They keep the Laundry locked all
the time! My sister is not happy in dirty clothes. I could see my sisters trousers were dirty to.
I am not allowed in her room. So cannot get her clothes to take home and wash and dry.
My sister has a right to choose from the menu like the patients who go down to the dinning room. When I complained they say the patients have mental problems. The patients are telling the truth , the ones who eat upstairs just get one meal not chosen by them.
While downstairs there is a choice, and grated cheddar , salad, and fruit to.
The staff all sitting in there office listening to awful pop music, should have consideration
for the patients and visitors. Who like me might not want to listen to that awful pop music.
It would help if the unit was painted a soft clean clear pink (NOT fuschia or red)
Clean clear yellow, green, blue, white, violet, would also be nice to.
It would be nice a seperate men and women area. So women do not have to put
up any crude male patients.
"worried for my sister who is in Meridian ward..."
