About: Threeways Surgery

As always, at the end of the day - everything depends on the people that are working there.

and in my experience:

- reception is slow and extremely inefficient.

at times there are 5-6 people in a queue while 3-4 people discussing something behind the screen, none care to take responsibility and ask if they can help - simply not their job to step up!?

- calls are taking forever and never getting back

number of times you have to wait while calling, sometimes just being disconnected after waiting for a while (which is extremely frustrating)

if promised to call back, - forget it, just do it again

- onlie facilities

are there to be used, but none of the stuff seem to have ANY idea how to use them or to provide a correct answers, they are also vry relactunt to learn!

- GPs/doctors

It seems they have more off days than a good days.

Usually they are not really listening to what you have to say :( or just jumping to conclusions and run with it, even if this is not true.

Not interested in triage or anything that takes them into -' i need to think about it' mode.

Impossible to convince to be seen by the specialist!!!!!!! which would save lots of unnessessary time for GPs and get required actions

and do not pay any attention to patents history - the words 'I have allergy on antibiotics' don't even hit their ears - and you are walking away with another prescription for anibiotics, which you have to reseach yourself and disregard.

But by thay point there is a note that you had that prescription, so next time - it would be shuved down your throat again, with no ineterst in listening I didn't take it as I am allergic!!!

Oh, and at times getting appointment is apparnly 'un-nessesary' - what I mean I was told that a number of times during my preganancy that midwife will sort everything out, even when the GP has to see you (apparently) they simply do not!!! just point back to midwife - with the words ' midwife will do that for you'!!!
