"Bad Online Reviews are Correct!"

I am very grateful to see both good and bad online reviews about Wallace Centre. I am usually at Burney Street Practice, but I’ve been sent to the Wallace Centre twice in August 2018 and I was shocked by the unprofessionalism by the receptionist staff and nurses. I realised that the negative reviews were accurate to my experience. Also, the online reviews about Wallace are worse than Burney Street – which I can also confirm is true to my experience.

MY EXPERIENCE:

After examining my bronchitis, the doctor, who was great and very friendly, asked me to come back to the Wallace Centre for a) 1 x LUNG TEST and b) 1 x BLOOD TEST. I booked 2 x appointments at Wallace Centre to do both tests and this is what happened:

1) LUNG TEST appointment: When I saw the nurse for the appointment, I was told that the receptionists had booked me in with the WRONG nurse! The nurse asked that I should go home and come back another time to see the correct nurse.

2) BLOOD TEST appointment: I arrived 15min prior to my appointment, booked myself in with the receptionist, who told me to wait in the waiting area. Then there seemed to be a delay. I asked the receptionist about the delay but was told that I should wait. 20 minutes after my appointment time, the nurse came out to me and said that I was 20 minutes late. She said that I should go home and book another appointment. When I told her what happened, the receptionist shouted at me saying that I was ‘behaving badly’ instead of saying sorry! They were the ones behaving badly – not me. They asked me to make another appointment - I refused.

After the above 2 experiences at Wallace, I did all the tests at Burney Street without any problems: Booked in appointments. Did appointments. Results available the next week. No fuss. No stress.
