I visited the sugery today after work about 2pm on 5:9:2018 and to my disappointment,

It was closed. I need repeat prescriptions, as I am asthmatic. This has happened once before. I checked the opening times and the sugery is open till 6pm. This was very inconvenient for me, as usually I put my prescription in after work.

Not sure if there was an emergency!

Please accept our apology, on that Wednesday afternoon the practice was undertaking mandatory training, which happens a few afternoons within the year.

I have checked our systems and it was found we had not updated our website or our practice facebook page. Again I apologise that this did not occur. On looking at your case I think we can do more than that in future, so i will be speaking to our Patient Participation Group (who is meeting next week) to discuss this further.

For general information if you ever run out of a medication (such as an inhaler) you can visit a pharmacy who will provide this medication as an urgent request and inform us the next working day. You could also sign up to order your repeat medications online which you may find useful, as it also allows you to book appointments and view test results etc.
