My 75 year old wife who has dementia and other medical problems was referred to the Nottingham Queens medical treatment centre by her doctor on a BCC 2 week treatment referral.
When trying to make the appointment for the dermatology dept with all the correct paperwork, which stated urgent by the doctor, we were informed by them that it would be 8 weeks at the earliest because they were too busy.
Take it or leave it, was their attitude. Seemed like as far as they were concerned they were well within government guidelines and knew there would be no repercussion on them. What a terrible state of affairs we are in
