"Retinal Vein Occlusion"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

In January 2017 suddenly while visiting relatives in Ireland ,I lost my vision in my right eye everything was blurry. I returned to the UK ,and contacted my Opticians who gave me a appointment the same day, after a examination she informed , me I have had a bleed at the back of my eye . I was referred to Bolton Hospital Eye Clinic . Within 2 days I had a phone call from RBH within 24 hours I attended the RBH

Eye Clinic H Block I found all the staff really nice ,the consultant talked me through what had happen to me ,a blood vessel at the back of my right eye had ruptured and covered my retina with blood.

I attended

BHS { H } Block throughout 2017/18 ,where I had a series of injections in my eye to dissolve and disperse the blood .This year I have been attending BHS and Water Meeting Health Centre. I have found all the staff ,very good and professional also very sympathetic it's not easy when it comes to your eyes . I have been pleasantly surprised ,by all the latest equipment Bolton has ,also out of 10 appointments I have been seen on time. Today I attended Bolton Hospital Eye Clinic Mr Kelly examined my eyes and gave me the all clear ,and discharge me .Many Thanks to all the staff at RBH Eye Clinic and Water Meeting Place .
