"Ward 1b , excellent care given to our daughter."

We wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to the incredible team on ward 1B. My daughter was recently an inpatient following an emergency admission for a ruptured ectopic.

Whilst visiting our daughter on the ward we witnessed first hand just how incredible & awe inspiring this team really is. From the moment we arrived on the ward and met SN Leanne we knew instantly we were in safe hands. As I am sure you can appreciate at this time my daughter was terrified, anxious & desperately needing reassurance - instantly Leanne did this . Leanne was beyond amazing & we will be forever grateful. 

All of the staff have been incredible. We would also like to make a special mention, Lisa for her kindness, expertise knowledge & generally being there exactly when we needed a reassuring ear, it was very much appreciated. 

Deputy sisters Lisa & Lucy who were on duty throughout my daughters stay, we witnessed them managing the most hectic & busiest of shifts with care , compassion, professionalism & always with a smile. They made time for every patient , the families & their colleagues it was inspiring to watch. No matter what pressures the ward was under the obs, medications inc IV antis, meals & checks were always on time. My daughter witnessed staff stay late , miss breaks & happy to do so to enable them to put the well being of the patients first. The team work was remarkable. 

We feel so strongly I had to write to express our thanks & to reiterate just how wonderful the staff on ward 1b are. I wish we could mention everyone by name as EVERYONE who cared for our daughter was just fantastic, a team the trust should be very proud of.
