With regards to feeling that there is not enough to do on the ward, I entirely understand why you may be feeling like this. We have, just recently, been making progress in improving this aspect of care in the ward in terms of investing in our small sitting room, with new comfortable chairs, and our window area at the top of the ward, with books, music and activities. It appears to me, though, that perhaps we need to be improving access to these areas, and promoting them a bit better. We will need to be actively identifying the people on our ward who would benefit from using these areas, and assisting them to do so.

We value all feedback, so thank you again for taking the time to sit with our volunteer and talk through it.
