"Care in hospital"

About: Victoria Hospital / Day Intervention Unit

(as the patient),

Went in for day surgery, scared at being in hospital. But Nurse Hazel was very friendly and put me at easy. Even though she was trying to admit all 5 patients with no help. I think it would be nice if staff member helped rather than talking to patients.

Hi Meldrum,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave some valuable feedback on Care Opinion.

I'm very glad Hazel was able to put you at ease and feel a bit less scared. I will take your comments on board regarding admitting patients, although talking to patients who are nervous and worried is just as important as paperwork, I guess its about finding a balance so I will take your comments on board.

I hope you are recovering well after your procedure, and should you need anything, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Many thanks
