"Emergency eye clinic"

About: Frimley Park Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was seeing flashing lights on the Sunday of Bank Holiday and having read the NHS website that it could be a very serious condition I contacted 111 service who got duty GP to contact me.

She contacted on call eye specialist who made an appointment to be seen on Wednesday at 11am but to go to A and E if deteriorated.

The service at eye clinic on Wednesday was excellent, had my details, seen promptly and very kind specialist reassured me that I had not wasted their time and done the right thing.

Fortunately it was not the more serious condition which can result in serious irreparable damage if not treated.

Excellent service from everyone.
