About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I attended this department for a sigmoidoscopy on Tuesday 4 September feeling somewhat apprehensive.

All of the staff were very pleasant and attentive and did their utmost to put me at ease.

I was very pleasantly surprised and felt I was being very well looked after.

I attended the same department 6 years ago for a similar procedure and my memory of that visit was not so positive.

In a time of negative reports about the NHS on a daily basis I am pleased to be able to give this team the most positive of reviews.
