"A day in A and E"

After a trip and fall at home during the night, a call to 111, I followed instructions to go to MIU Exmouth at 9 am then referral to A and E, Wonford, Exeter. I went with trepidation, but we were treated with kindness, respect and unexpectedly quick progress through the system. A reasonably short wait between stages and even a fresh, filled bread roll and cup of tea so I could take my pain meds with food. I was helped by fourteen different staff in all. From polite volunteer serving food to professional doctors, nurses and physio. To complete the service I was taken home and lifted up the steps into our bungalow. Such a great improvement on ten years ago, in my experience. Excellent! Thank you to ALL the team at A and E.
