"Amazing birth experience"

Our baby girl arrived last month and we can only thank the staff on the labour ward and Bolney ward for their exceptional level of care. Having arrived at the hospital much further into labour than anticipated, the midwife that supported us throughout labour was fantastic, keeping us informed at every stage and encouraging us through the tired times! Although I ended up having an emergency c-section which I was highly apprehensive about in the lead up to the birth, the staff made me feel relaxed and safe throughout the procedure. The midwife looking after us informed us when she was off for a break and we were introduced to the midwife who took over our care. The high level of compassion continues on the Bonney ward. Staff work long shifts but nothing is too much trouble and they are there to support you at every opportunity. Thank you all!
