About: Woodend Hospital / Pre-operative Assessment Clinic

(as a service user),

Was feeling pretty down to-day when I arrived for my pre op assessment for my mastectomy. I saw Elaner the Anaesthetics Nurse who was absolutely fantastic. She probably spent more time with me than was available. For this I really appreciate. Her manner and attitude was so caring and she explained a lot of things I was unsure of.  Thank you so much Elaner you were great.

Dear Hondon

It is quite scary to be coming into hospital for preparation for surgery, never mind the surgery itself. I am so glad that Elaner was so supportive and able to put you at ease. I wish you all the best for your upcoming operation.
