I went to Stoke Mandeville Oral Department last Thursday to have one, possibly two, teeth extracted. I was SO scared, I hadn’t slept in days and I really can not say how petrified I was to have this procedure. I have a massive phobia about having teeth removed.
I had been to Stoke Mandevile for a pre check a couple of weeks before and EVERYONE from the receptionist, to the nurse, to the dental surgeon were lovely, patient and caring.
They explained the procedure and offered sedation or general anaesthetic as I was so frightened.
Nothing they could say would take away my fear.
However, I went and had my wisdom tooth out last Thursday and it was FANTASTIC. Honestly, I can not fault ANYTHING. I was so frightened and now I feel silly, because the whole thing was easier than cleaning my teeth. Every single person in that hospital was lovely.
They put me at ease and the whole experience was fantastic. Seriously I would go back anytime to Stoke Mandeville and have it done again.
I give them a whopping 5 STARS. in fact if there were a hundred stars, I would give it to this hospital. THANK YOU STOKE MANDEVILLE HOSPITAL FOR
BEING AMAZING!
"FANTASTIC Stoke Mandeville Hospital!"
