I was diagnosed with cancer in July 2016 and, for the past two and a half years have been seen by so many wonderful Doctors, Nurses, clinicians, support workers, but to name a few, and I have been treated with dignity and respect.
I have been seen by the doctor in Urology, the doctor in Oncology, many nurses and carers in Ricky Grant Day Care centre
May I also say that, all the people involved in my care, including cleaning staff and volunteers, have been absolutely outstanding at a time when support, care and a sense of humour goes a very long way to making the experience more bearable.
I also would like to thank the staff in the Radiotherapy department, and numerous other people, including my cancer specialist nurse.
So, anyone who has the same treatments as me, i.e.: Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and day surgery, I would like to say how very wonderful and special these people are.
