"6 minutes late for second cholesterol test and..."

I care for my elderly mother and have to arrange for someone to be with her if i leave the house, i had had one appointment already, was slightly over on my cholesterol test .Nurse insisted i come back for another, so i fasted, made arrangements for my mum and walked down in pouring rain! i was held up by traffic in rain and can only imagine ,that , that is why i was 6 minutes late! while i understand that appointments are close, she must have had someone else in pretty quick! So i was told to make another appointment, impossible as a carer, so i walked out without making one.Other peoples time is also precious! Have bought my own cholesterol test to monitor.I am never late usually and have waited up to an hour in this drs in the past, incredibly unfair!!!
