ENT sent me away re ear wax, my doctors nurse...

"ENT sent me away re ear wax, my doctors nurse..."

About: Kettering General Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

Sent away by disinterested staff due to ear wax.

Doctors nurse said very little wax and not allowed to do ear syringe because they could see ear drum and could damage it.

Apparently according to my nurse this is common practice for Kettering Hospital.

Clearly very busy in ENT as hard to get appointment so settled for Kettering as quickest appointment and travelled from Bedford..So wasted time off work for this and following doctors appointment too.

Now I need to go back so I will wait and go to the Irthlingborough one as I felt service was good there. I am a mature teacher, I very rarely attend doctors or hospital and I was very polite but was treated as if I had no control over anything I spoke about and questions were not answered.

Easy way to get patients out I suppose if very busy and make the statistics for seeing patients look good.
