"Keyhole surgery at Treliske Hospital"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have Chronic Myloid Leukaemia and am still being treated for this by the haematology unit. I learnt recently how expensive the tablets are for this treatment and know that I could never have afforded this if it was not for the NHS.

Recently I was diagnosed with a hernia and had keyhole surgery from which I am now recovering. I was looked after fantastically by all the staff whilst at the hospital for the hernia op and cannot thank them enough for all their care over all the years. I feel very lucky.
