I have been a patient at this practice for nearly ten years and sadly it is no longer the good practice it used to be. It is nearly impossible to see the same GP and it can take up to three weeks to book an appointment.
Doctors are under a lot of pressure to perform within a ten minute consultation. The reception team are never rude, Nevertheless, they often appear quite defensive and unfriendly when approached. Also,, a lot of locum doctors now covering the clinics, who do not know you at all.
For the past six weeks, I have been suffering from severe vertigo. During my last appointment, I attended complaining of earache. A new young GP failed to diagnosed a perforation of my eardrum. I was reviewed and treated by a different practice.
I have submitted a formal complaint to the practice manager and I am still waiting to hear from the doctor.
Sadly, I had no other alternative than to change GP practice.
