ve On arrival I was amazed by the friendliness and smart appearance of the staff in reception. II was made to feel relaxed and that nothing was too much trouble. I was then directed to the admission reception area which was welcoming and spotless. The two members of staff were professional, smart and friendly. On being taken through to the pre op area I was struck by the precise manner in which I was dealt with. Following my change into the obligatory gown and pants, I met the theatre nurse, anaesthetist and my consultant. I was then taken into theatre. Following my procedure, I was taken to a four bed pristine ward. I cannot speak too highly of the care, attention and wonderful manner of all the staff I came into contact with. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was presented hot and in more than adequate amounts and was varied and nutritious. I spent five days in total in the Hospital and have since returned on several occasions for physic. On every occasion I was treated in a professional, warm and caring manner by all of the staff. Having years ago been in a "Private" hospital, I can only say that Halton exceeds those over and above. Many thanks . Andy Mackay.
