What could be improved

God awful place to have any treatment done with the exception of the cardio department who fitted my stent last year. SAU ward is nothing other than a meat market full of disinterested nurses, doctors and consultants. Have now been there 3 times in last 18 months and each and every time it was awful. I wouldn't trust these people to look after my dog never mind a person. Latest visit for perianal abscess resulted in no pain relief before theatre, first operation was botched and had to be re-admitted within 36 hours. Again staff were useless although 2nd operation did provide some relief, I'm still waiting 3 months on to get the problem fully sorted and get the tie wrap removed from my backside! in one word " disgrace" to the extent I have made a formal complain and written to my MP.

Everything. For a start, sack all the disinterested and lazy nurses and give the jobs to people who really care about people and really want to work.

Anything else?

Yes. Sort it out. There has been millions upon millions spent on this hospital but you would never believe so and it should be a damn sight better.
