"Fantastic care from hardworking, dedicated staff."

What I liked

My 9yr old son was admitted to ward 25 on Boxing Day with stomach pains. The staff were fantastic, they talked directly to him and allowed time for his responses before any input from us and checked with him before doing any checks or tests. They were so helpful and did everything possible to make our overnight stay comfortable. His main nurses were really lovely and took time with him and put him at ease and everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Please pass on our thanks to the staff on ward 25, especially the nurses, they do a wonderful job and it's obvious that they go the extra mile to make a not very nice experience as good as it could be and we are very grateful for their care and hard work.

What could be improved

Anything else?

If it is possible it would be more comfortable to have two pillows on the guest bed, but I'm just being picky!
