"Ear, Nose, Throat & Disrespect"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose and Throat

Went for an appointment with my consultant. Previous appointment was with his assistant who was pleasant and told me the issue was the tube running from ear to nose. The more senior guy today was rude, unpleasant and enormously patronising. All he wanted was to get rid of me. Said the problem was completely different to how it had been explained before.

Said I was going deaf and there was nothing they could do. This is not the problem at all. He thought the temporary deafness I experience was different to how it actually is. In reality my ear pops every day and for a few hours I cam hear my own voice loud in my head. He simply did not listen. The rudest person I've ever met. Going to get 2nd opinion from another hospital and meanwhile complain to the hospital and CQC about this guy.
