"My labour experience"

I would like to thank every single member from midwives to doctors, after a very stressful few days in slow labour I was rushed in by ambulance and found to be 10cm dilated! Labour in total was around 16 hour long. The midwife dealing with me was incredible along with the student midwife! After a very long 2/3 hours in the pool with no luck I was moved onto the labour ward due to my contractions slowing, during this stressful and tiring period I was reassured every step of the way... I was put on a drip to try and increase my contractions but no luck and was told that the doctors would have to try forceps! I was so scared but I was so reassured and I couldn’t of done it without the amazing team there! The forceps weren’t successful so I was rushed for an emergency c section! I was talked through everything that was happening and I was so at ease and relaxed! At 2:45pm my beautiful little boy was born weighing a very healthy 6lb 12oz, Even after my birth I was so well looked after and my lovely midwife came to congratulate me and gave me a cuddle! Honestly the most amazing experience and I would 100% recommend the birthing suite and the labour ward at this hospital! Thank you so so much to this amazing team for helping me welcome my beautiful baby boy into this world safely!
