About: Bromley Healthcare / Talk together Bromley (IAPT)

(as a service user),

I joined therapy in April after being referred by my GP with anxiety and depression. I wanted to come off my medication as i fell pregnant.

Within a couple of weeks, I have having one to one weekly sessions with my therapist over a period of 5 months to help address my challenges.

I felt confident fairly quickly into therapy that was the right thing for me - I think this is testament to the therapist taking the time to understand my thought processes and needs and not being afraid to challenge me. The service has been something I am extremely grateful for - especially on the one to one level as its helped me to really open up and connect with my therapist. I do think this has helped speed the recovery and I have felt confidentiality has been respected.

There has been a noticable difference in my approach to challenges (not only from myself but those closer to me) and I really feel I have become a more understanding and fulfilled person as a result of this therapy. Thanks so much to my therapist for making this happen
