"All the staff are a credit to the NHS"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Accident and emergency Musgrove Park Hospital / Diagnostic Imaging Musgrove Park Hospital / Urology South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a service user),

I was brought in by ambulance. I just want to pass on my thanks to all the individuals who make a fantastic team throughout the whole of my stay that day. I am sorry I cannot name them but they will know who they are. I was in terrific pain due to kidney stone in my right kidney. They managed my pain diagnosed and trreated in the same day. Under the extreme pressure I know public service is under, I was impressed by the professionalism, care, consideration, empathy, and humanity. Nothing was ever any trouble and they all were personable and had a welcome smile. I apologise that I am so useless with names, but all the staff are a credit to the NHS and Musgrove hospital.

Thanks

Dear Irish1

I hope you are recovering well. Don't worry about remembering names, as you say those who looked after you are likely to recognize the details from their shift. I am proud to say that we are incredibly lucky in this department and you could have been talking about number of our staff who do their best every day and night under increasing pressure. Thank you for taking the time to recognize their hard work as we always appreciate hearing when we are doing well. I will forward to the team.

Regards

Louise

Dear Irish1,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and I hope you are recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients and those around them when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in this instance, however, to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards,

Sharifa
