My father had an appointment with the dermatologist to determine his treatment for cancer, and the oro-maxillary surgeon and the radio therapist also left their scheduled appointments to look at him without appointments being made, in order to fast-track his treatment without uncomfortable repeat journeys to and from the hospital, and to save him having to wait all day in hospital between appointments.

My father and I were both very impressed with his treatment, and with the friendly, concerned consultants and nurses.

Don’t let them privatise the NHS!
