"CBT for Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Depression and Agoraphobia"

I was advised to self refer to the Talk Together Bromley service by my GP around January 2017. By February 2017, I had been allocated a pre-assessment appointment with Caroline where I discussed my difficulties with panic attacks and anxiety. I was understandably nervous throughout this appointment since talking about my mental health has never been too easy, however nevertheless, Caroline was extremely understanding and we were able to discuss potential treatment options. We both agreed that CBT sessions would be beneficial.

Approximately 6 months later, I had my very first session booked in with Claire at Beckenham Clinic. Claire was the best healthcare professional I have ever spoken to regarding my anxiety, she was incredibly understanding and super easy to talk to. She made me feel like I could be myself and I felt accepted for who I am. We worked together to break down anxiety triggers and identified behaviours relating to anxiety and panic, and further used this analysis to set realistic goals for me to work on at home, between sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed our sessions and would most definitely recommend this service to anybody, I could not fault the exceptional level of support received by staff.
