My visit was ok, my grandads ward had lovely staff on i would like to thank ward 12 because they are lovely and friendly.But the hospital had a few areas which were unclean, the toilets in the main entrance had a broken wooden structure (which was under the hand dryers in the male loos) and it wasn't that clean, this is the male one. The car park had a lot of litter in and there was alot of litter in the bushes near the main entrance. Overall a lovely hospital but a few changes need to be made. The loos i am talking about are the ones next to julian graves

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and we are happy to hear about the good treatment received by your grandad on Ward 12 at Heartlands.

Re: your comments regarding litter in the car park - Heartlands has 56 litter bins across the site. Unfortunately many of our visitors chose to drop their litter rather than use one of the many bins provided, and outside the Main Entrance with the retail outlets, is even more prone to litter being dropped. We do site-wide litter picks each weekday, generally in the mornings.

Re: your comments regarding cleanliness of the toilets. Cleaning of the Main Entrance is under contract with a company called Assura. The Estates Department will be asking Assura to check the 'wooden structure' and the associated cleaning/monitoring methods.
