We are very lucky to have the unit based near to where we live and grateful that they are available when needed during the daytime hours and early evening. I took my partner today for a painful wrist problem which had started to give pain yesterday and was much worse today. We tried to get a GP appointment online but there was nothing available until 28th August.

We were seen today after waiting a few minutes by a very efficient young lady who diagnosed tendonitis and told us what he should take as pain-killers and fitted a thumb splint and gave a list of printed out exercises to do after explaining the procedure. This was very efficient and we are so grateful that this is available to the public. Thank you very much.
