I attended the MRI walk-in centre as I had burned my forearm in work. It was rather busy and was told it would be 1hr 30 wait. I think I was seen in just under 2 hours - which I was absolutely fine with. The nurse practitioner that dealt with me was very thorough and considerate (please pass on my thanks - I did not manage to catch her name! 06/08/2018 around 2pm).
I was disappointed and embarrassed by other patients in the waiting room however! The amount of ridiculous requests/questions that the Reception staff had to suffer. "How long is it going to be else I will just go to A & E"...! Another person asked "How long is the wait to see a doctor as I have a doctors appointment in an hour and didn't know if I could get seen here quicker"! I can't believe how little people respect the NHS, I wish they could appreciate that we can walk off the street and get seen by a nurse or doctor within 2 hours - this would not happen anywhere else!
Thank you for all the hard work you do!
"Great service - over worked and under appreciated!"
