About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

I was admitted as an emergency via ambulance to FVRH last week. Unfortunately, I have been ill a great deal this year and have had many admissions to Ward B11. 

However, I cannot praise the staff and care provided highly enough. I feel amongst people who truly care, give 100% and make me feel as safe and comfortable as possible. 

Many of the staff go that extra mile to make a difference. This includes housekeeper, cleaners, dietician as well as nurses and doctors.

Firstly can I say that I am sorry to hear that you have been unwell and required several admissions to ward B11 recently and I hope you are recovering at present. It is however great to hear that during your time there you felt safe, comfortable and cared for. I am really grateful that you have taken the time to give us this lovely feedback. Everyone in the ward works hard under difficult circumstances at times and it is great to hear feedback like this.

I will make sure this is shared with all the staff on the ward and I am sure they will be delighted to hear it.

I am sorry that you have had numerous admissions due to illness and hope you are now making a good recovery.

Thank you very much for your kind comments which I will share with all the ward team. Staff work very hard to maintain a high level of care and compassion to all patients which at times can be very difficult therefore it's always lovely to get good feedback knowing we as a team made a difference to someone's hospital stay.

I hope you are now making a full recovery.
