"Rude receptionists and impossible to get..."

Receptionists are extremely rude and unhelpful. When faced with people who have difficulties understanding English, they shout the same information at them rather than take the time to explain.

It is usually impossible to book appointments in the next few days - you either have to book for over a month away (when you won’t be ill anymore) or ring at 8am in the hope you might get an emergency appointment the same day (not all medical issues are emergencies!). You never consistently see the same GP either.

On the plus side, the GPs themselves are very helpful and professional.
