Came in late on a Saturday night after my knee had flared up due to an infection. It was busy and it was about 3 hours before a Doctor could access the knee and make a judgement. The team were very considerate and left no stone unturned. They took blood samples gave me x rays on both the chest and knee and monitored my temperature and blood pressure can't ask for much more really. I was accessed by the consultants who put my mind at rest. a programme of treatment was put in place where I would visit each day at 4oclock. My progress was constantly reviewed and would see a Doctor every couple of days until I was eventually discharged and the treatment of IV ended. OK some of the waiting was a bit frustrating at times, but to be fair once I was an out patient I would maybe only have to wait 10 minutes or so past the appointment time. Great staff very who do a wonderful job under difficult circumstances.
