"Operation cancelled"

Was told to come in for a day operation on the 14 Aug at 7:15am so i arrange for the kids to be looked after for when i went in for the op. I also took 3 days off work to arrive go through the hole process of checking in head up stairs and get ready for the op then move to the room where you wait to go in for your surgery this was at 9:am waited for 3 hours total of 5 hours to be told they don't have my notes and they are waiting. (Waiting) they should have had my notes in before I come into hospital the day before. I was told I could just wait for a slot as they have afternoon op's or leave and rearrange. Am sorry but I planed my day was on time had the kids looked after and had the day off work and they could have told me when i arrived they where waiting for my notes or say we might not be able to do the op today what a joke.
