I ordered some repeat medication, via the website, last Thursday 9th of August. I checked on Monday 13th and the prescription was showing as "pending." When I checked again this morning, Monday 14th of August, it was still the same. I rang the surgery and was assured that this would be brought to the doctor's attention and the prescription dealt with today. I checked again at about 1pm, still pending. I've just rang, yet again, at about 3.15 and the receptionist assured me she would send a message to the doctor. Third time lucky? If not, I will have to visit the surgery and since I have mobility issues, I really don't want to do that. Whilst I appreciate the pressure GPS are under, I am a type 2 diabetic and don't need the stress of worrying about whether I'm going to get my meds or not. Formerly all I had to do was contact the pharmacy direct, who had a record of my repeat prescriptions, and there were no problems. I know the surgery is not responsible for the change to the website system, which causes problems of its own, but why have the powers that be tried to "fix" something that wasn't, as far as I'm concerned, broken?
"Unacceptable"
