About: Sheffield City GP HC (Wic)

I attended here on Thursday 9th august, with tonsillitis symptoms as I get them often and knew I'd need antibiotics. However the treatment I received wasn't acceptable as he said I didn't fit the criteria for antibiotics even tho I had high temperature, raised pulse and swollen glands with white spots on one side. He told me if I felt worse tomorrow to come back or go to a&e.

I had to make another appointment at my own doctors the next day Friday 10th august, as I had got worse and now both my tonsils was swollen with white spots. My own doctor knew straight away that I needed antibiotics only by looking at me then checking all my symptoms correctly. He wasn't happy with how I'd been treated as I could have deteriorated and ended up in hospital. He also has put a complaint in. My doctor said I didn't actually see a registered doctor or nurse.
