"The practice fails on every level"

About: Charterhouse Surgery

I have a condition which reoccurs regularly, there Is no follow up, I have not managed to get an appointment with the GP when my condition flares, this cannot be planned ahead! I have been given antibiotics without seeing anyone. The receptionist makes you feel you are a nuisance, customer respect and care is non existent .

This used to be an excellent practice when my children were young, the service now is appalling, uncaring, there is no continuity of care, you are just a number that needs, if at all possible to be got rid of as quickly as possible.

I will be looking at other practices as I am a human being and expect to be treated as someone who has a genuine problem,. The receptionist has a hostile manner which is aimed to deter patients, this is not acceptable, everyone is entitled to a compassionate and caring service,

I realise people are busy, but being helpful and kind takes no more time than presenting every patient with a challenge and uphill fight to get an appointment!

I had hoped when the service was put into special measures things would change, it has not, the surgery is empty if you are successful, which just shows how much of a deterrent is being operated to prevent patients from seeing a doctor.
