"Nobody there"

The In-Health audiology centre advertises drop in services for hearing aid batteries and repairs, but on the last four occasions I have been, reception has been unstaffed and access to the centre is behind a locked door. The number you are asked to ring is an 'In-health' call centre that has no knowledge of whether the reception should be staffed and apparently no way of contacting anyone on duty in the centre. I had called ahead to see if the reception would be staffed, but the call centre misinformed me that the reception would be staffed.

Although small supplies of batteries are left on the counter, this was of no help as I needed an urgent replacement of the tubes to my hearing aid.

I question whether In-Health are fulfilling their contract.

The In-Health leaflet available at the reception desk told me that the Grove Road Health Centre had supplies for tubing repairs - which led me on another wild goose chase as the supplies available seemed to have no relation to any hearing aid built in the current century.
