I wish to say how pleased I am with the service provided.
8/8/18 my wife was concerned about my high temperature I was having difficulty seeing and standing, she took me to the GP for a 09:20 appointment.
Th GP took my blood pressure, called an ambulance and put me on oxygen.
The ambulance arrived within minutes and transferred me to Diana P.O.W. A&E, who were waiting for me.
The staff were polite and helpful.
The SHO from HDU came to see me and admitted me to his dept.
I was in HDU for two days, and as I recovered was transferred to ward C5, I was discharged 12/8/18.
Throughout this time everyone from GP to discharge team, at every level from porter/domestic to consultant was so polite tolerant and caring, I was extremely impressed. The way the staff treated difficult unreasonable patients impressed me most of all. Even the food was reasonable to good, which considering the distance from kitchen to ward is quite an achievement.
