I have only attended one appointment with a neurologist at KH. And my experience I just put down to a on off. But after numerous mis communicated letters and time in flagging this up (very frustrating when it involves a patients rights, concerns and views), and not something I thought I would ever have to do. I eventually got a respond from department secretary who offered alternative. Which was great. Mind put at ease.
Today trying to reschedule up coming appointment due to MRI not going to plan, and this has also been scheduled. It seems different piece of information that it can be a longer wait in order to get this. Really? Is everyone on the same page in neurology when sharing info with patients? I personally just want to get both appointments out of the way as have never experienced such a complicated, confusing, miscommunication process ever. Hence my grading for KH is low. Also this impacts on other appointment at MSK. Who are brilliant in how they handle and communicate, but need KH to give all clear. It just seems for such a long wait. Apologies for getting very frustrated but when under scrutiny at work, which does come first, why is it so complicated in getting something so simple changed, and communicated when I am only doing what one department asks at KH, to another?
Sure it could be less distressful. But hard work. And can't wait to see the back of KH. Sorry.
