"5 months and still waiting for results - PALS..."

This breaks my heart to write this as Ive been attending UCH for many years due to complex health problems and Ive always thought that they were 'stretched' yet marvelous but what has happened to this hospital?

I had a CT scan and blood tests in March to look for Malignancies (to quote what the OP doctor told me and put in writing to my GP). FIVE MONTHS later Ive had no results, no follow up appointment and no follow up letter to my GP or myself. I have phoned the Consultants secretary 4 times over the past 6 weeks and left messages but no one phones back. Last week I left a message on the PALS service, no-one phoned back. Tried to contact Pals twice today but cant even leave a message because the "mailbox is full".

We are constantly being told the NHS is broke, stretched and is underfunded. We are constantly asked as patients not to use the service unless we have to and not to abuse the system, but 5 months ago you put me through a costly diagnostic procedure injecting me with a costly contrast, took costly blood tests for what? What a waste of time, money, and possibly my health?
