"Swollen Knee"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I arrived in A&E unable to walk due to a very swollen left knee.

Everyone from A&E were fantastic all the way to explainining why there were keeping me in.

The support from all the day staff was excellent as was the humor we all shared.

The theatre staff and recovery team 10 out of 10 for a whimp who hate large needles.

Got me walking again and now waiting for the follow up.

The NHS should proud of who they are and we should all support all the staff including the unsung heroes that keep the wards clean.

The situation may be undere funding but they do not turn away. They are doing their best with what they have.

Please accept our sincere thanks for taking the time to comment on your experiences while being cared for on the ward. It's great to hear you were so pleased with the service provided.

I will feed back your comments to the staff concerned and I'm sure it will mean a lot to them.
