"Fantastic ,caring service"

I returned from holiday on Sat and had a blocked right ear.This had been ongoing for 4 days and despite using eardrops had not cleared and was painful on the flight home.I visited The Gables out of hours surgery and explained that as I was Cabin Crew and needed to fly the next day I needed my ear treating.He rang LGI and I went straight to Ward 27,the staff were all very understanding and I was seen very quickly.A Doctor came down from ENT and explained that my ear would need suction but they did not do it at weekends and I was not an emergency.When I explained it was for my job and sickness would go against me she discussed with her senior and they agreed to do it for me.It took about 5 seconds to remove the blockage and I was able to work next day painfree.Thankyou for all the staff who were so understanding and helpful on Saturday morning 11/8/2018.
