"Life changing surgery"

I went to initially see a surgeon and he said I was obese and sent me away for a few months. This upsetting comment prompted me to lose 3 stone. I was in denial and I needed this push. Went back and had an epidural which only lasted a few weeks. Then had the surgery .before surgery I was in constant pain 24/7 and was told I would only have a 70% pain reduction.

After surgery , the releif was so great that the post surgery pain was far less than pre surgery pain so no pain relief.

My stay was great. Spotless hospital and lovely staff and surgeon. This has changed my life for the better . I can now perform normal movements and walk for miles.

This was quite simply the best thing I could have had done . I can't rate this hospital enough .very very grateful for my NHS surgery
