"Cut to ear"

I arrived at A and E after getting a deep cut to my ear at work. I explained the worry of infection due to the uncleanliness of the situation which lead to me getting the cut and was waiting an hour to see the triage nurse who looked at it, gave me a bandage and said that it was too deep so the doctor should look. I then waited another 7 hours to see the doctor who after consulting with another doctor told me I had to go to hull within the hour because it needed stitching and they couldn’t do this at Scunthorpe and it needed doing as soon as possible. They did not offer to clean it at all during my 8 hours here after being asked multiple times.
